Caesar salad and dressing

cooking common sense: ranch salad dressing

Caesar Dressing:

2 cups of mayonnaise, 1 Tbl. lemon juice, 1 Tbl. worchestershire sauce, 1 large clove garlic.

Ranch Dressing:
2cups of mayonnaise,  1/2 cup buttermilk, 1 large clove garlic, chives and parsley.

Thousand Island Dressing:
2 cups mayonnaise, 2 Tbl. ketchup, 1Tbl. relish
(classic versions also include horseradish, worchestershire sauce and chopped hard boiled eggs but all of these are completely optional, in my opinion)

Asian Dressing:
1 cup rice wine vinegar, 2 Tbl. sugar, 2 Tbl. peanut butter, ginger.

Italian Dressing: (Italian dressing is the most versatile of all of the dressings.  Just a couple of things to remember: you need an acid, an oil and flavoring.  I'll list a classic recipe first and then various ingredients you can pick and choose from).
1 cider vinegar, 1/2 cup canola oil, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt and pepper.
(Mix it up with... acids: lime juice, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, champagne vinegar, any other vinegar; any kind of oils; and flavorings; mustard, onion, shallot, garlic, any herb, any salt, any pepper, worchestershire sauce or any kind of pepper sauce.)
